Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of vareno.io. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
1. What Vareno is
Vareno is an interface to third-party cryptocurrency exchange liquidity. We are not a bank, a broker, a custodian, or a money transmitter, and we do not hold your funds at any point. When you create a swap, you send coins directly to a deposit address supplied by a liquidity provider, and that provider sends the converted amount to the address you nominated.
There is no account, no balance, and nothing to withdraw. Vareno stores no user funds.
2. Who may use it
You may use Vareno only if you are of legal age where you live and only where doing so is lawful. Cryptocurrency services are restricted or prohibited in some jurisdictions, and it is your responsibility to know whether that applies to you. We may decline to serve any request without giving a reason.
You must not use Vareno to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, or move the proceeds of crime.
3. How a swap works
You choose a pair, a network for each side, and the address that should be paid. We show an estimate, you send your deposit, and the exchange executes once the network confirms it. Every stage after your deposit leaves your wallet is carried out by the liquidity provider, not by us.
Blockchain transactions are final. Once a transfer is broadcast, nobody — not you, not us, not the provider — can recall it. Check the address and the network before you send anything.
4. What is on you
- The receiving address is correct and you control it
- The network you select matches the network your wallet expects
- Any memo or destination tag required by the coin is included
- The amount clears the minimum shown for your pair
- Keeping the swap ID, which is the only way to look up an order later
Funds sent to the wrong network, to a contract that cannot receive them, or without a required memo are generally unrecoverable. We have no ability to reverse these.
5. Rates and fees
A floating rate is calculated when your deposit confirms and can differ from the estimate you were shown. A fixed rate is locked for a short window and is honoured for that window only; if your deposit arrives after it expires, the order may be re-priced or refunded.
Network fees, the conversion spread, and our margin are all reflected in the amount quoted before you commit. Nothing is added afterwards. Estimates are indicative and not an offer or a guarantee.
6. Compliance and third parties
The liquidity providers behind Vareno run their own anti-money-laundering monitoring. A transaction their systems flag may be paused pending verification, refunded, or in rare cases frozen. Those decisions belong to the provider and are outside our control. Where a provider requires identity verification to release funds, you deal with them directly.
Availability of any coin, network, or rate depends on those providers and can change without notice.
7. No warranty
Vareno is provided as is. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that estimates will be accurate, that any pair will remain available, or that a swap will complete within any particular time. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
8. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vareno is not liable for losses arising from market movement, network congestion, provider downtime, transactions sent to the wrong address or network, missing memos, or any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the margin we earned on the transaction in question.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@vareno.io. Include your swap ID if your question is about a specific order.
